Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation delivers medical aid to Dehiba hospital on Libyan borders

The UAE's Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation (KBZF) on Sunday delivered the latest medical equipment to the hospital of the Tunisian city of Dehiba on the Libyan borders. KBZF also delivered two tonnes of medicines for the hospital which serve a population of more than 70000 inhabitants, residents of neighbouring towns and Libyan displaced families, according to Nayef Al Khaja of KBZF. Hosni Al Muzhir, a doctor at Dehiba hospital, said the most recent UAE's medical aid package aid was extremely needed at the emergency room and critical cases wards. Thanking President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan He noted that the delegation of KBZF and the UAE relief team managed to provide the equipment in just 72 hours. KBZF also paid the cost of treatment of a large number of Libyan renal failure patients at a hospital in Jerba city, Tunisia. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
