ASSISTANCE TO MIGRANT AND LIBYAN COMMUNITIES

  • The Protection team carried out 41 protection assessments (26 male and 15 female), including 34 vulnerability assessments and 7 child protection assessments. In this period, 16 health and clothing kits were distributed to protection beneficiaries. A joint counselling session was held at the Gathering and Departure Facility for 5 cases.

  • The Health unit provided 626 migrants with primary and urgent health care, as well as 237 IDPs and host community members. The team referred 13 migrants to hospitals and private clinics. Additionally, 2 training workshops were organized for 39 staff from the Ministry of Health.

  • The Community Stabilization unit handed over tools and equipment to the Water and Waste Water Company in Sabha, in order to address the waste water challenges facing the communities. The team also distributed items for the businesses of 5 entrepreneurs in Sabha and Qatroun, who have been supported through the business development project.
