176 tons of humanitarian aid to Libyans

The Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah, in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent, sent 8800 cartons of foodstuffs to Libyan on Tuesday, 5th of April, 2016. The aforesaid in-kind aid was loaded on eight trucks and sent through Saloom outlet where the Libyan Red Crescent received them.

Pro. Moamena Kamel, Secretary General of the Egyptian Red Crescent lauded the humanitarian actions of the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah of providing subsidiaries whether to the residents of Rafah at the North of Sinai who were evacuated to the city of Areesh or to our Libyan who suffer armed conflict in their country.

A committee formed by the Egyptian Red Crescent, representatives of the Islamic Development Bank in Egypt and representatives of the Libyan Red Crescent supervised these humanitarian aids.
