Blankets, tents, water tanks, nets and other supplies from Irish Aid were recently dispatched from UNHRD Accra and chartered to Sierra Leone.
UNHRD continues to support Ebola response efforts of WHO, JICA, Irish Aid, UNHCR and WFP. Since March 2014, UNHRD depots in Dubai (UAE) and Accra (Ghana), Las Palmas (Spain) and Brindisi (Italy) have dispatched US$ 3.9 million worth of protective gear, emergency health kits, relief items and support equipment to the region. Weekly dispatches are ongoing.
