  • There have been no laboratory confirmed EVD cases in 13 counties out of 15 in the last 21 days as of 19 Jan). The remaining hotpots are Grand Cape Mount county (Tewor district in particular) and Montserrado (Greater Monrovia) where new cases are still scattered in 3 different neighbourhoods.

  • The number of contacts have reduced by 26% from November to December and the number of deaths by 39%.

  • As of 14 January, the total number EVD survivors remain at 1,395. Percent ration shows 53% female and 47% male.

  • Confirmed cases of children with EVD represents 16% of the 3,135 confirmed cases as of 18 January. Children represents 17% of all fatalities due to EVD.
