Brother's Brother Foundation and the Liberian
Community Association of Pittsburgh, PA are requesting funds to send requested
medical and educational supplies to war torn Liberia in West Africa. T.
Momolu Massaquoi , President of the Liberian Community Association of Greater
Pittsburgh and Luke Hingson, President of Brother's Brother Foundation
make a joint appeal today to help victims of the twenty years of civil
war in Liberia. Brother's Brother Foundation has worked Liberia since
1958 in the areas of health and education and in February, 2003 sent requested
educational materials to Liberia in coordination with the United Methodist
Church.

The Brother's Brother Foundation is a 46-year old Pittsburgh based international charity, has provided more than 69,000 tons of medical supplies, textbooks, food, seeds, and other humanitarian supplies to people around the world in over 110 countries using a combination of gifts from the general public, corporations and the US government. In 2002 alone BBF provided over $169,000,000 of relief help to those in need.
