Beirut - In line with the directives of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, an aid convoy was sent today by the UAE Project for Supporting and Reconstruction of Lebanon to the thousands of displaced Palestinian refugees in Lebanon's Al Beddawi Camp.
The 8-truck convoy carried emergency relief materials including blankets, foodstuff, milk, medicines and medical supplies. Accompanying the convoy to the camp was Abdullah Al Ghafli, Director of the Project, who toured the camp and visited the Palestinian Red Crescent's Hospital there. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
