Since 2 March 2026, Lebanon has faced a renewed escalation of hostilities, which has led to mass displacement and the expansion of hard‑to‑reach locations, sharply increasing humanitarian needs across multiple areas of the country. In response, the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) has allocated a US$15 million Reserve Allocation to support an immediate and coordinated humanitarian response. This allocation provides flexible funding to frontline partners to deliver life‑saving, multi‑sectoral assistance to people displaced within Lebanon regardless of nationality or status, both inside and outside collective shelters and in hard‑to‑reach areas and people remaining in areas of conflict, with a focus on areas hosting the largest concentrations of displaced families. The response prioritizes interventions in Shelter and Site Management, Food Security, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Health and Nutrition, and Protection.
