HIGHLIGHTS
● 786,443 people displaced within Lebanon now reported as back in their cadaster of origin, as of 4 December (IOM).
● 201,820 people remain displaced outside their cadaster of origin, a 78 per cent decrease since 24 November (IOM).
● Civilians confronting damaged and destroyed homes and infrastructure, disrupted services, ongoing insecurity, unexploded ordnance (UXO) risks and access restrictions, including warnings against return to many areas.
● 4,047 people killed and 16,638 injured since 8 October 2023 – nearly 84 per cent of deaths occurred after 15 September 2024 (MoPH).
