Attachments

Contingency stock data are regularly updated on Activity Info by partners to support emergency preparedness, gap identification, and evidence-based advocacy. This snapshot reflects the latest information reported and provides an overview of available contingency stocks across LRP sectors in the Bekaa, Beirut and Mount Lebanon (BML), North, and South regions.

Situation Analysis

Current contingency stocks provide limited coverage against planning assumptions under the worst-case conflict scenario thresholds. The most significant shortages are noted in Education, Food, Protection, and WaSH, supplies. Stocks are concentrated in the South and Bekaa, which are high-risk areas where needs are most significant. Pre-positioned supplies are insufficient in light of recent developments and protracted displacement, especially in the event that access constraints delay replenishment, particularly in high-risk border areas.

Bekaa: High risk of rapid displacement due to proximity to border areas. Existing stocks are being overstretched in mass influx scenarios. Gaps are most notable in Education, Protection, Health, and Food supplies.

Beirut and Mount Lebanon: Absorbing secondary displacement. Partner presence is strong, but collective shelter options are being occupied rapidly, which may constrain rapid scale-up. Supply gaps are most notable in Protection, Food, and Education.

North: High vulnerability and infrastructure fragility increase challenges. Current stocks are insufficient for Protection, Nutrition, Food, and Education, particularly in remote areas.

South: Highest-risk area under current escalation scenarios. Available stocks do not meet needs in case of widespread displacement or infrastructure damage. Access and warehousing constraints remain key risks. Gaps are most Significant in Health, Food, Shelter, and Education supplies.
