ABOU SAMRA, Lebanon, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) continued delivering aid to displaced Syrian families in northern Lebanon on Tuesday.
The teams delivered 400 food packages and 400 cleaning substances to Syrians in Abou Samra town in Tripoli city, head of the society's social committee Fawzeya Al-Nassar told KUNA. The official also hoped the society's continuous humanitarian aid would ease the suffering of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
There are currently over one million Syrian refugees living in camps lacking essential means of survival in different Lebanese cities, with the majority being children, women, and elderly. (end) mah.ag
