Inter-Agency Winter Support Update (15 February 2016)

Attachments

Highlights

Based on agreed cash for winter packages, more than 156,750 households received assistance. An additional 60,000 households received in kind items such as clothing kits, stoves, blankets, as well as fuel vouchers where cash is not possible.
Agencies plan to conclude distribution plans by end February 2016. It is worth mentioning that UNHCR will extend its cash for winter programme until the end of March 2016.
Although weather conditions have been more favourable, UNHCR is taking into account the increased vulnerabilities and expenditures of the refugee population during the winter months.
