Bishkek, July 9 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan received an offer to be one of the project participants in prevention of natural disasters using satellite technology, among 60 more countries. Chairman of the board of trustees of educational and scientific-industrial complex of International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) Asylbek Aidaraliev said during a press conference at Kabar Agency. "We have received such an offer. 60 countries have been already participating in this project. The idea is that from the satellite there will be monitored hazardous areas of land that can be landlides, floods and other natural disasters. The response will be quickly sent to all channels of the countries that signed the treaty, " he said. In his opinion, it is better to spend $ 10 thousand to support the project, then millions for the restoration of consequences of disasters.
