Bishkek, June 3 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan managed to localize outbreaks of measles and rubella. Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Sanitary Doctor Oleg Gorin said today at a press conference. The first case of measles was registered on May 12, 2014 in Chui oblast, it was imported from Kazakhstan. The outbreak started in late 2014. In general, there were more than 20 thousand cases of suspected measles and rubella. Through national immunization campaign against measles and rubella we could localize the outbreak. At the moment, 95% of the population have been vaccinated, said Oleg Gorin.
