Overview
During the period from January to December 2014, the Red Crescent Society of Kyrgyzstan (RCSK) continued the implementation of its programmes in the following main directions: Disaster Management (DM), Health, Social Programmes, and Organizational Development (OD). Out of mentioned above areas, three ones were supported through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) – DM, Health and OD. The RCSK’s Social programmes are supported by donor National Societies (PNSs) on a bilateral basis.
The RCSK`s programmes are aligned with the strategic aims of the Strategy 2020 – to save lives, protect livelihoods, and strengthen recovery from disasters and crises; enable healthy and safe living; and promote social inclusion and culture of non-violence and peace.
