Description
General Information:
On April 14, 2025, between 17:00 and 20:30, a mudflow occurred in Ak-Taylak village, Ala-Buka district, Jalal-Abad region, as a result of heavy rainfall accompanied by hail. A total of 18.1 mm of precipitation fell within two hours — significantly higher than the monthly norm of 5–6 mm.
Damage Caused:
The mudflow damaged one residential house, destroyed one on-farm road bridge, and one pedestrian bridge. Alternative routes are available for both transport and pedestrians. The figures are preliminary and subject to change as the MoES continues its assessment
