This was shown by the vegetation condition index (VCI)-3 month in the county for March 2016 was 31 which was a decrease from 45 of February 2016, this is above normal -
State of Water is 6 normal of 5-6, implies the state is available in most areas.

March 2016, livestock migration pattern was minimal and within the normal grazing routes to wet grazing areas.

The livestock body condition was good to fair (5) during the month was between value 5- 9 of normal range.

The Terms of Trade recorded a value of 31 kg in exchange a goat against the maize, was decrease from 38 that recorded in the previous month of February 2016. However this was above normal.
