Fresh attacks have been reported early this morning at 3am in Tarasaa in Tana River. Houses have been torched, 300 cattle and 400 goats raided. 12 people have been sadly killed in the dawn attack.
10 Casualties have been rushed to Ngao District Hospital by Red Cross, 3 sustained shrapnel wounds of the chest while One has severe burns all are in critical condition.
Kenya Red Cross ambulance Emergency Medical services is now evacuating the critical cases to Malindi District Hospital.
Kenya Red Cross Society disaster response team is conducting rapid need assessment and to confirm the number of injured, deaths and affected.
Prior to this attacks there was a previous one on 1st of September where one person was killed.
