Biophysical Indicators

  • The March-April-May rainfall came on time by third week of March. Its progressing into the month of April was good.

  • The vegetation condition index of 34.02 was reported which was below normal.

  • Water access was good as recharged improved with current rains.

Socio Economic Indicators (Impact Indicators)

  • Livestock body condition score of 3 was registered compared to normal of 4 –5.

  • Milk production increased from 4.7 bottles in March to 5 bottles in April.

  • Farm activities progressed on well, at present first and second weeding are ongoing.

  • Terms of trade of 0.3 was reported which was within long-term ranges of 0.3 - 0.8.
