- Rainfall received in all parts of the County during the month under review.
- The 3-month Vegetation Condition index for the County was 16.1classifying it as severe drought but field observation shows normal vegetation greenness in all sub counties
- All earth pans in the County impounded water that can last for at least one to three months.
Socio economic indicators
- Milk production and consumption has improved compared to last month.
- Terms of trade are favourable to pastoral communities.
- Pasture regeneration has been noted in all parts of the county
- Browse conditions are good in the entire County.
- Livestock prices have increased compared to last month.
- The body condition for shoat and Camel has improved while cattle is still poor but on improving trend
- The utilization indicator is within the normal range.
- Cholera outbreak was reported in Mandera Town during the month
- Floods along River Daua have been witnessed and farms are still water logged
