The Financial Tracking System (FTS) on 10 November, reported total contributions of US$ 390 million towards humanitarian action in Kenya. The amount includes US$ 148 million in carry-over funding from 2009 which is an increase in comparison to US$ 85.4 million recorded as carry-over funding from 2008 into 2009. A significant proportion of the funds were channeled towards multi-sector assistance to refugees , food aid, nutrition, and coordination which have been funded to over 50% of the total requirements. Agriculture and Livestock, Education, Health and Protection are sectors that are currently least funded, receiving 30% or less.
