Operations Summary

The Kenya Red Cross Society is coordinating various humanitarian activities and programmes to mobilize funds and relief food towards the Drought Appeal launched on 21st January 2009. Drought assessment is ongoing in various districts countrywide. The drought situation is reported to be worsening in most parts of the country.
