It also emphasized epidemic preparedness, integrating community-based surveillance reporting with national systems, and supporting the COVAX vaccine rollout and HIV/AIDS interventions. The National Society also provided non-communicable disease care and improved sexual and reproductive health in several counties. Additionally, it implemented projects focused on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) complemented with hygiene promotion.

This included enhancing public awareness and visibility through collaboration with national media to report on emergency responses and community needs. It also highlighted the pivotal contributions of frontline responders and volunteers in disaster relief efforts. By implementing a robust monitoring and evaluation framework, the National Society strengthened its tracking of project outcomes, supported by risk management plans and monitoring mechanisms across all operations.
