Biophysical Indicators

✓ Rainfall report: A few places got some light showers in the first and second week of June. This was normal as the wet season ends in May.

✓ Vegetation condition above normal. Pasture and browse conditions are fair to good, above normal.

Socio Economic Indicators (Impact Indicators)

Production Indicators

✓ Livestock body condition is very good. Milk production above normal due to increased calving. No migration. No Livestock mortalities due to drought.

Access indicators

✓ Distances to water sources were shorter than normal due to effects of enhanced rainfall. The terms of trade remained above the five-year average due to reduced cereal prices against high livestock prices.

✓ Improvement in milk consumption within the expected range. Utilization Indicators

✓ The rate of children at risk of malnutrition reduced below range.

✓ The CSI within normal, households using less stressful ways to get.

✓ No households were in poor food consumption score.
