Food Crisis Emergency Response Kenya - External Situation Report Number: 21

Oxfam and partners are organizing a forum for Civil Society and other stakeholders to do a post-mortem of the Kenya Country Paper on ending drought emergencies. Civil Society representation in the recently gazetted National Disaster Management Authority will also be assessed in the forum to be held 20 January 2012.

Oxfam and Save the Children will on January 18th 2012 release a report on late response to food crisis in east Africa. The report is a reflection on response by various actors and lessons learnt that can help prevent future loss of lives and of funds.
