Through the generous support of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), UNHCR will soon connect all shelters and much of the operational facilitates in Azraq camp to the electrical grid. Implemented over three concurrent phases this network covers the medium voltage lines (managed by EDCO), low voltage lines (managed by a local contractor, EDWAN) and the internal shelter wiring undertaken by trained refugees.
