The Syria Emergency Response Fund for Jordan (ERF) mobilises and channels resources to humanitarian partners to respond to the current situation of the Syrian refugees in Jordan and initiate life-saving humanitarian activities.
By December 2014, the Jordan ERF has received $2,399,953 in contributions, and in March 2015, the Government of Belgium pledged US$ 1,683,502 to the fund; to date, the total contributions reached a total of US$ 4 million. At the beginning of January 2015, four NGOs received funding to implement different winterization activities in host communities. With US$ 986,955 being allocated to these 4 projects, the ERF balance now stands at US $3,096,500
