On the 22nd of March, ACTED celebrated World Water Day in two Jordanian schools by teaching kids the importance of water conservation in one of the most water-scarce countries in the world.
With the support of UNICEF, ACTED organised several games and activities with school children in northern Jordan in an effort to raise awareness among the new generation of Jordanian and Syrian children on the importance of maintaining good hygiene whilst also remaining conscious of daily water use.
Role playing, songs and dancing, card games, races, painting workshops, fill the bucket, and Q&A contests were all games used to send key messages on daily attitudes and practices that contribute to saving water.
