Offers of Assistance from Foreign Countries and Regions (Great East Japan Earthquake): update, 12 May 2011

With regard to the Great East Japan Earthquake, which occurred at 14:46 on Friday, March 11, 2011, as of 18:00 on Thursday, May 12, 2011, Japan has received offers of assistance from the 156 countries and regions and 41 international organizations (increased from 146 and 39, respectively, in the previous press release).

The following countries made new offers (in alphabetical order):

Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
Republic of The Gambia
Republic of Ghana
Republic of Kiribati
Federated States of Micronesia
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Republic of Uganda
