- Following the passage of tropical storm PULASAN over central-western Japan on 21-22 September, floods, river overflows and landslides have been recorded mostly across the Ishikawa prefecture, Honshu island, central Japan, resulting in casualties and damage.
- According to media, at least 11 people have died, of whom nine in Wajima and two others in Suzu City.
- For the next 48 hours, moderate to locally heavy rainfall is expected across central and eastern Honshu island.
