Major updates are as follows.

  1. Nuclear Power Stations (NPSs) Fukushima Dai-ichi NPS
  • In order to prepare to transfer the stagnant water on the basement floor of the turbine building of Unit 1 to the Condenser, the transfer of the water in the Condenser to the Condensate Storage Tank was started. (13:55 April 3rd)

  • As the measure to prevent the outflow of the water accumulated in the Pits for Conduit in the area around the Inlet Bar Screen of Unit 2, the upper part of the Power Cable Trench for power source at Intake Channel was crushed and sawdust, high polymer absorbent and cutting-processed newspaper were put inside. (From 13:47 till 14:30 April 3rd)

  • Approximately 13kg of tracer (bath agent) was put in from the Pit for the Duct for Seawater Pipe. (From 07:08 till 07:11 April 4th)

  • Fresh water spray of around 180t for Unit 4 using Concrete Pump Truck (50t/h) was carried out. (From 17:08 till 22:16 April 3rd)
