- Tropical Storm PULASAN crossed Okinawa island, Ryukyu Island, southern Japan on 18 September and is moving northwest towards eastern China. On 19 September at 0.00 UTC, its centre is located in the East China Sea approximately 508 km south-east of Shangai city, eastern China, with maximum sustained winds of 74 km/h.
- PULASAN is forecast to approach the coast of the Shangai municipality area - affected by typhoon BEBINCA on 16 September - and Jiangsu province on 19-20 September and after that, it will change its direction moving north-east towards the southern coast of South Korea.
- For the next 72 hours, moderate to very heavy rainfall and strong winds are in effect over most of the Ryukyu islands, eastern China and the whole Korean peninsula
