Donation from the State of Kuwait in Japan

In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, representatives of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Japan, headed by H.E. Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Otaibi, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan, in cooperation with the Japan Football Association, will visit the Kesennuma City Hall, Minami-Kesennuma Elementary School, Kesennuma Junior High School and Kesennuma Gymnastic Hall (K-Wave) in Miyagi Prefecture to donate 240 footballs, writing materials and other relief goods to disaster-stricken people on the afternoon on Thursday, April 28.

From the State of Kuwait, letters and messages of sympathy were sent from H.H. the Amir of the State of Kuwait and many others, and the Government of the State of Kuwait has decided to donate five million barrels of crude oil on Monday, April 18.

The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the sense of solidarity expressed and assistance extended by the Government of the State of Kuwait and its people.
