Overview
In the first eleven months of 2024, 63,537 refugees and migrants arrived in Italy by sea, compared to 152,415 in the same period last year, a decrease of 58 per cent. Almost all of the 6,835 people who arrived in November disembarked in Sicily, followed by Calabria (546), Sardinia (200), Liguria (185), Campania (114), Toscana (72), Abruzzo (50), Marche (49), Puglia (48), and Lazio (25).
