GAZA, Jul 6, 2005 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) armed wing Abu Ali Mustafa fired on Wednesday several homemade rockets at the southern Israeli town of Sderout.
The group said in a leaflet sent to reporters that its militants fired several Ustafa rockets at the city of Sderout, adding that the militants also fired homemade mortars at Israeli settlement of Nahal Ozz Kibbutz in eastern Gaza.
The rockets attacks on Israel was a response to the Jewish settlers' attacks on the Palestinians carried out on Tuesday night east of the settlement of Kfar Darom in central Gaza Strip, said the leaflet.
Jewish settler's car hit four Palestinians, while Israeli soldiers and settlers who clashed with the residents wounded another six residents, one of them lost his eye and another one was in critical conditions and taken to an Israeli hospital.
The group said that it will continue its attacks in response to the Israeli violations of the status of calmness that all Palestinian factions had accepted in March.
Israel Radio reported that two homemade rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed at an empty area near Sderout, and several homemade mortars were fired at several settlements in the Gaza Strip, no damages or injuries were reported.
