The school suffer from lack of funding in addition to disrupted learning because of frequent curfews.
The gift was small compared to the work needed at the school. There are 40-45 pupils in each class and growing as neighboring schools are closed.
In the small overcrowded classrooms some of the children must sit between desks. Yet the teachers are trying to make the best of the situation. When members of the TIPH Community relations dropped by last week, they didn't ask for much.
They asked for school stationery; Blank notebooks, drawing equipment, pencils, sharpeners and rulers. Five TIPH members participated in the school visit, and was met with song, frenetic waving and enthusiasm. The TIPH will continue to focus on schools in the H2 area of Hebron.
