Jan 16 (Reuters) - Following are developments in the fighting in the Gaza Strip as of 1915 GMT:

GAZA - An air strike kills seven Palestinians in the Shijaiya quarter of Gaza, medical staff say.

GAZA - An Israeli tank shell kills a prominent Gaza doctor's three children and two of his brother's children in their homes in Jebalya refugee camp, Palestinian medical staff and Israel's Channel 10 television say.
