To date, over 48,000 people have crossed the border of which approximately 50 per cent are children. Fifty-two per cent are above the age of 18 and 3 per cent are above the age of 60. The gender breakdown is 47 per cent female / 53 per cent male.

On 26-27 August the CP team identified 28 separated children, 11 unaccompanied children and 17 Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism (MRM) cases.

As a result of the UNICEF mission on 26 August, six showers were procured and will be delivered on site on 28 August. Additional showers have been ordered.

In Arbat camp, four tankers (15,000L per tanker) delivered 75,000L of non-potable water to the camp. Twenty-five water tanks with taps (500L capacity) will be delivered on 28 August, substantially increasing the accessibility of fresh water in the camp.
