Turk?sh Red Crescent sends 28,000 bottles of serum to Iraqi refugees

Turkish Red Crescent on Wednesday sent 28,000 bottles of serum to Iraqi refugees who took shelter in Syria.

Turkish Red Crescent has been endeavoring to heal the wounds of Iraqi people in the wake of the war.

Referring to a memorandum of understanding signed between Turkey and Syria on the matter, " President of the Turkish Red Crescent Tekin Kucukali and Syrian Red Crescent President signed the memorandum of understanding to meet the needs of Iraqi refugees in Syria and to open a Turkish Red Crescent office in Syria."

Turkey also donated two prefabricated school buildings to Syria, "thus Turkey's assistance to the region has amounted to 680,000 USD."
