- Confirmed cholera cases, remains at 462, with no additional cases in the last 24 hours..

- There have been 7 deaths due to Acute Watery Diarrhea however, either stool specimens were not collected (3 deaths) or stool on examination were negative for cholera organism (4 deaths).

2. Distribution of confirmed cholera by province Fig 1, below, shows that the majority (49%) of confirmed cholera cases were reported from Babil province followed by Baghdad province (16%) Diwanyia (12%) Basra (11%), and Karbala (7%).Together Missan, Diala,Najaf, Anbar,, and Wasitreported the remaining 5% of the total cases.
