1. Confirmed Measles cases by province:

During the first 44 weeks of 2008, of 6424 measles cases reported in Iraq, 1056 (21%) were from Anbar, 819 (16%) from Diwanyia, 636 (12%) Salahadin; 547 (11%) B-Karekh, 458 (9%) (missing location here); 495 (10%) B-Resafa; 453 (9%) Babil, 451 (%)Kerbala, 358(7%) Nineveh, and 328 (6%) Kirkuk. Remaining DoHs reported 543 (11%) of suspect cases. It is clear that the outbreak was controlled by DoHs where measles Mop Up operations were implemented. New cases were reported from remaining DoHs who did not participate in Mop Up operations.
