DOMIZ II is a permanent camp in Duhok Governorate, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). It opened in December 2013 in response to the influx of refugees from Syria, as an extension to the existing Domiz camp. As of August 26, 2014 the camp hosts 3,300 Syrian refugees. Domiz II is located 2 km south of Domiz camp and is managed by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) through the Development and Modification Centre (DMC).
