Iraq Crisis Response Plan 2026

Attachments

In 2026, IOM will continue to support the Government of Iraq (GoI) to develop and implement inclusive strategies towards well-managed migration, and implement recovery, peacebuilding and stabilization initiatives that address the root causes of displacement, build communities resilience and climate adaptation and support durable solutions. As a result, displaced populations, returnees, migrants and host communities in Iraq can exercise their rights and access essential services in an inclusive and equitable environment.

This plan outlines IOM's efforts to save lives and protect people on the move, drive solutions to displacement and facilitate pathways for regular migration. In 2026, IOM requires $92,770,000 to support 153,100 individuals, including internally displaced persons, local populations / communities, internal and international migrants and stakeholders.
