FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Jan 7

Jan 7 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 0900 GMT on Thursday.

HIT - Three bombs exploded overnight at the home of Waleed al-Hiti, an Iraqi Army special forces commander, and nearby houses in Hit, about 130 km (80 miles) west of Baghdad, police said. The attack seriously wounded Hiti and killed seven people, mostly Hiti's relatives.

TUZ KHURMATO - A roadside bomb killed one child and wounded four others in Tuz Khurmato, 170 km (105 miles) north of Baghdad on Wednesday, police said.
