Dec 28 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1600 GMT on Wednesday.

  • HAWIJA - A roadside bomb exploded near an army patrol, killing one soldier and wounding another in a village near the town of Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Police said they found the body of a man who had been kidnapped and shot in an area south of the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad.
