Dec 29 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 0645 GMT on Wednesday.

MOSUL - Two suicide bombers attacked a police battalion, killing the commander, in western Mosul, about 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police sources said.

BAGHDAD - A government-backed Sahwa militia leader escaped unharmed when a bomb attached to his car exploded in Baghdad's southern Doura district on Tuesday, an Interior Ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - A sticky bomb attached to a car killed the driver and wounded his father when it went off in Baghdad's southern district of Saidiya, an Interior Ministry source said.
