* BAGHDAD - A hand grenade was thrown at Shi'ite pilgrims taking part in the Shi'ite Muslim religious festival of Ashura, wounding five of them in Palestine Street in northeast Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed two pilgrims taking part in the Shi'ite Muslim religious festival of Ashura in the New Baghdad district of the Iraqi capital, police said. Eight other pilgrims were wounded.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Iraqi police wounded three policemen and two civilians at fuel station in the Zaafaraniya district in southeastern Baghdad, police said.
TUZ KHURMATO - A roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi police patrol wounded one policeman and three civilians in Tuz Khurmato, 170 km (105 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
FALLUJA - A bomb killed a lieutenant colonel from the Iraqi police outside his home in central Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - A bomb killed a tribal leader near his home in Abu Ghraib, in Baghdad's western outskirts, police said.
