Dec 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1300 GMT on Friday.

* HASWA - Suspected al Qaeda militants bombed the home of a Shiite family, killing Mohammed al-Karrafi, a follower of anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, as well as his wife, two sons and a nephew, in Haswa, 50 km (30 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

Four other people in the home were wounded, police said.

SAMARRA - A roadside bomb struck an Iraqi police patrol, killing two policemen, in Samarra, 100 km (62 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
