FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, April 28

April 28 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1900 GMT on Thursday.

BALAD RUZ - At least eight people were killed and 17 wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a mosque, Muthana al-Timimi, head of Diyala provincial council's security committee, said. The explosion occurred in Balad Ruz, 90 km (55 miles) northeast of Baghdad.

HAWIJA - A car bomb exploded near a police vehicle, killing four policemen and wounding 12 civilians in a busy street in the town of Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
