Nov 17 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1800 GMT on Monday.

BAGHDAD - A bomb affixed to a car killed the driver and wounded two others in the Jamiaa district of western Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb affixed to a car exploded on a highway in eastern Baghdad, wounding two civilians, police said.

KIRKUK - The body of a woman was found with gunshot wounds in the northern part of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

SULAIMANIYA - A bomb wounded three civilians and destroyed four cars in the northern Kurdish city of Sulaimaniya, which normally sees little violence, police said. Police were not able to give details on the type of bomb in the blast.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb targeting a U.S. patrol wounded two Iraqi civilians, police said. The Americans were unhurt.

AMARA - A parked car bomb wounded 17 people when it blew up near a the headquarters of Iraqi and U.S. forces in Amara, capital of Maysan province, 300 km (185 miles) southeast of Baghdad, said Latif al-Tamimi the head of the security committee on the provincial council. The U.S. military said 14 people were wounded.

MOSUL - A bomb carried on a handcart killed one policeman and wounded six people including three policemen when it detonated near a checkpoint in central Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - Police said they killed two gunmen inside a house in western Mosul.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car wounded five civilians in Tayaran Square in central Baghdad, police said.

MUSSAYAB - A roadside bomb killed two civilians and wounded three others in the town of Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi army killed five militants and arrested 26 others during last 24 hours in different parts of Iraq, the Defence Ministry said in a statement.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb killed one policeman and wounded three others when it struck their patrol on Sunday in southern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

ISKANDARIYA - Police said they found the body of a member of a U.S.-backed neighbourhood patrol in Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad. The body bore gunshot wounds.

NUMANIYA - A man was found shot dead inside his car on Sunday in the town of Numaniya, 120 km (70 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

MUSSAYAB - A roadside bomb killed one person and wounded another person in Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
